Dr. Amrutha Gopan

Dr. AmruthaGopan has been working as Assistant Professor at School of Fisheries, CUTM, Parlakhemundi, Odisha, since 2019. She completed her Ph.D. in Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology in 2020 from ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai. She secured M.F.Sc.(Master of Fisheries Science) in Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology in 2015 from the same institute.She graduated withB.F.Sc.(Bachelor of Fisheries Science) from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), Kochi, Kerala. Her research interests include the utilization of protein isolates from non-edible seeds such as Neem seed cake andKaranja seed cake in Labeorohita, enhancing fillet appearance in Pangasianodonhypophthalmusand application of immunoceuticals in finfish diets. She won Hiralal Chaudhuri Gold Medal in 2017 for securing the first rank in the M.F.Sc programme from CIFE, Mumbai. She has qualified ASRB-NET in ‘Fish Nutrition’ conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board in 2016.
