This is a skill-oriented course to provide hands-on practice and project work on camera operation. In this course a student will study the techniques of camera operation, lighting techniques and photography composition.

Course Objectives:

The objectives of this subject are:

  • To impart knowledge of digital painting by using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • To achieve proficient technical and aesthetic skills using various tools to generate a broad range of two-dimensional images.
  • To learn basic traditional drawing concepts of basic composition, using shadow and highlight to create the illusion of volume,
  • To use atmospheric and linear perspective to create the illusion of space.

After completing this program-

  • The trainee will gain knowledge on graphics designing
  • The trainee will able to develop the sense of digital painting
  • The trainee will be an expert in concept art, matte art and character design.
  • The trainee will be an expert in story boarding.
  • Can join media industry as a graphics designer.
  • Can work as back ground artist or character designer in film and entertainment industry.
  • Can be a creative artist in any production house

Learning Record:

The trainee will submit a Practice/Project/Learning record after each class/session.

 

Assessment Process:

The assessment agencies should have an expert to conduct assessment NOS wise and every trainee should score a minimum of 70% in the overall assessment.

The assessment of the theory/knowledge will be based on a written test/viva-voce or both while the skill test shall be hands-on practical.
