Prafulla Kumar Panda
Prafulla Kumar Panda working as an Assistant professor in department of civil engineering at Centurion University of Technology and Management. He obtained his B.Sc from Utkal university, Odisha ,M.Sc from Berhampur university Odisha, M.Tech from BharathiDasan University, Tamilnadu. He is previously worked at IIT Kanpur as Research Associate (2009-2011).He visited different countries such as UK, Srilanka, Nepal and delivered various lectures in different forums. As a professor of Civil Engineering Prof. Prafulla Kumar Panda has been a person of research acumen who consistently demonstrates excellence in the efficiency, productivity and quality of his research work. He has proven this in creating a Patent on Identification of hydrocarbon locales of an unexplored basin using space inputs and GIS. His area of interest in Surveying, Remote Sensing and GIS, Applied Geology, Water resource Engineering, Disaster Mitigation & Management. He has more than 30 International and National Journal and Conference Papers to his credit. Prof.Panda has life members in different professional bodies, Reviewer & Editor of various journals. He has completed two projects from Government of India (DST/NRDMS-Department of Science and Technology/Natural Resources Data Management Systems) for tribal fortification of Rayagada and Gjapati district of Odisha. He has received an award for “Creative Invention in Research Excellence and Academic Awards” 2018, From CSERD, and received Research Excellence Award 2019 from InSc and Bharat Vikas Award 2019 from ISR, 9th Science & Technology Awards-20 from EET.
