Dr. Sutar Suhas Bharat

Dr. Sutar Suhas Bharat is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Botany,SoAS, CUTM, Odisha. He has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing, China. He haspursued his MSc. (Biotechnology) from TNAU, Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India and completed BSc. in agricultural biotechnology from Vasantrao Nai Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, Maharashtra, India. He has been was awarded as DBT fellow and obtained DBT scholarship for his master degree. His area of research is genome editing in tomato and chili towards disease resistance, and genome sequencing and data analysis. He received a scholarship from the ministry of HRD Govt. of India and CSC China to pursue his PhD.He has published more than five research articles and two book chapters.
