Dr.DojalisaSahu completed her M.Sc. and M. Phil. degrees in Chemistry from Sambalpur University in the year 2004 and 2006 respectively. She also did Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources in the year 2008-2010 from Sambalpur University. In 2010, she joined CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Material Technology, Bhubaneswar as a research assistant to pursue a career in research. She worked on the synthesis and study on the functional nanomaterials like Zinc Oxide for different applications and got Ph.D. from Sambalpur University in the year 2014. Dr.Sahu joined as an Assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, CUTM, Bhubaneswar in July 2014 and presently continuing as an Associate Professor. She also served the department of Chemistry as HOD from 2016 to 2020 and academic co-coordinator of School of Applied Sciences. Her present research focus is on the synthesis of novel functional nanomaterials, nanocomposite with different morphology having significance in optical properties like photoluminescence, photo-catalytic, mechanical and antibacterial activity. She also worked on the fabrication of DBD plasma reactor for the generation of hydrogen energy and degradation of industrial pollutant like phenol and cyanide. She has more than 25 publications in international journal (SCI & SCOPUS) of high repute, 15 publications in national journal, 1 book publication, 2 book chapters and more than 15 conference proceedings in her name. She is also a reviewer of a number of international journals (Elsevier & Springer) and members of professional bodies like Plasma Society of India and Odisha Chemical Society. She has guided more than 30 M.Sc., 10 M. Phil. Students and one PhD student and two students are perusing their Ph. D under her currently.
