Ph.D in Synthetic organic chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune

Research area: Carbohydrate chemistry, Transition metal catalysis, Methodology and total synthesis.

Post-doctoral research: Central University, Hyderabad, India (as UGC-Dr. D. S. Kothari post-doc Research Fellow)

Research area: Organocatalyzed synthesis of naturally occurring bioactive butenolides and their analogues using a three component reductive alkylation reaction.

Post-doctoral research: University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

Research area: Mechanistic study of asymmetric organocatalytic Michael reaction as well as synthesis of bioactive natural products.
